Review of ThePeoplesChemist.com's Supplement Product Daily Dose

Why a review of ThePeoplesChemist.com's product Daily Dose on a site exclusively dedicated to the virtues of cayenne pepper? Because it has cayenne in it, that's why.

I've been a fan of organic chemist Shane Ellison since I came upon his YouTube video on the $1.41 cleanse. It led me to purchase his outstanding book, Over The Counter Natural Cures: Expanded Edition: Take Charge of Your Health in 30 Days with 10 Lifesaving Supplements for Under $10. I bought it in 2014 right after he updated it. (The Kindle version is the updated version, which you can check out here.)

The book will knock your socks off.

The Story Behind Daily Dose

Three of the products Shane Ellison sells has cayenne pepper in them as an accentuating agent, I believe, and that is what spurred my interest. Those products are, Daily Dose, Thermo FX AM, and Thermo FX PM. As a subscriber on his list, I daily get emails pitching his various products, but I really don't mind. I honestly can say that (unlike other lists I've been on). Why? Because literally almost every email has superb scientific information that outlines why and how certain nutrients or tools can help us to "Dare to Live Young." He also discusses from time to time how Big Pharma is scamming us.

Over The Counter Natural CuresOh, I forgot to tell you. Shane Ellison is an organic chemist yes, but I didn't mention that he used to work for Big Pharma. He used to work Eli Lilly and another pharmaceutical company. What he saw angered and disgusted him. In one of his emails, he includes chapter 2 of Over the Counter Natural Cures where he talks about why he abandoned the pharmaceutical industry. This is a guy, mind you, who used to assist in the design, formulation, and workings of new drug concoctions.

He says, "As a medicinal chemist, I ignored my suspicion that an insidious and deliberate push to get each and every American hooked on drugs, while at the same time bankrupting them, existed between Big Pharma and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). I enjoyed my work. Drug design paid well and kept me comfortably isolated in a high-tech lab, fully equipped to help to bend and twist matter at will. The last thing I wanted to think of was a plot to sabotage health and wealth -- while causing untold ecological damage -- using my chemistry skills. But over time, experience confirmed my suspicion as fact and revealed something even scarier."

I can't quote the entire chapter but I will give a few highlights. Before I do, though, I want to mention that if you have read through this site, you know what a fan I am of botanical or herbal medicine. I've personally seen some incredible results not only with my own body, but with folks who've emailed me discussing their results (check out the testimonials page on this site if you haven't before).

And those testimonials are just for cayenne pepper.

Getting back to Shane Ellison's book, some of the facts he reveals are jaw dropping and eye opening but not surprising given Big Pharma's prediliction toward greed and avarice (not to mention the U.S. government). He says:

  • More than 100 different pharmaceutical drugs have been found in lakes, streams, even reservoirs throughout the world.
  • In 2008, the Associated Press found that at least 41 million Americans' water supply is laced with prescription drugs.
  • There's more global scientific muscle power at work than what it took to build the space station in proving definitively that thimerosal is ruining the health of America through its inclusion in vaccines (Ellison is devotedly against vaccines, as am I). Yet, Big Pharma continues to sell cheaper, mercury-rich vaccines in over 40 countries as of 2017.
  • According to a government survey done in the first decade of the 2000 time period, 150 million Americans are taking one or more prescription drugs per month, with 37% of those over 60 years of age taking an incredible five or more!
  • From 2004 to 2009, the number of drug prescriptions in the US rose 12% to 3.7 billion, according to IMS Health and The Nielsen Company.
  • In 2009, ten years ago as of this writing, total pharmaceutical lobbying was $267,893,947.
  • Every year, prescription drugs kill an estimated 105,000 people. That's more than all the dead in the Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq wars combined.
  • "If the FDA and Big Pharma onslaught is allowed to continue, [and it will] it will silently kill more people than all the historical conspiracies combined -- and perhaps one day, all of the wars as well," he says.

He says lastly, "Sloppy FDA standards have created a corporate drug leviathan that is robbing every man, woman, and child in its path of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This profit-pulling monster has no checks or balances, which makes it almost impossible to fight..."

Let's switch gears.

Features & Benefits of Daily Dose

So, what's in it?

Daily Dose contains the following ingredients: cayenne, boswellic acid from frankincense, curcumin, and bromelain. The cayenne pepper and bromelain ingredients boost the bioavailability of curcumin and this makes it easier for the body to absorb and utilize it. (I've talked about before as to how cayenne is ancayenne pepper "accentuator" spice in that it increases the nutritional valence or efficacy of other nutrients it is coupled with. I talk about that here and here, among other places, in this cayenne pepper informational site.)

The virtues of cayenne are myriad. Go to my health benefits of cayenne page to get more information on this "king of spices." Its inclusion in this formula excited me as I know how efficacious it is. It comes with 20mg of 40k SHU of cayenne. It is not the main ingredient, though.

Curcumin from turmeric is. Loaded with compounds known as curcuminoids, it is a formidable tool to hold at bay declining health. Ellison quotes Dr. Minerva Santos, the director of integrative medicine at Northern Westchester Hospital saying, "This orange and yellow spice...has anti-inflammatory properties..." This is not insignificant. Accoridng to the National Cancer Institute, "Cancer is another disease linked with chronic inflammation. Over time, chronic inflammation can cause DNA damage and lead to some forms of cancer." Chronic inflammation has also been linked to heart disease, stroke, rheumatoid arthritis, and lupus.

This product, Daily Dose, Shane Ellison says, "is a different kind of multivitamin" as it has "naturally occurring nutrients required to fight cancer, as well as increase energy, vitality, immunity, and longevity."

Last thought regarding the benefits of curcumin. Even the "we-want-to-stay-in-business" American Cancer Society says, "Laboratory studies have shown that curcumin interferes with several important molecular pathways involved in cancer development, growth, and spread. Researchers have reported that curcumin inhibited the formation of cancer-causing enzymes in rodents."

That's exciting. And I'll bet you didn't hear that on the news.

Another ingredient is boswellic acids from frankincense. A recent study discovered that boswellic acids were able to treat "rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, chronic colitis, ulcerative colitis, collagenous colitis, Crohn's disease, and bronchial asthma." Ellison quotes from Advanced Experimental Medicine and Biology as "it can not be expected that there is cure from these diseases burt at least improvement of symptoms in about 60-70% of the cases." (That's science speak for "it is really awesome and it rocks.")

Boswellic acids are amazing. It, among other things, increases the brain's ability to work, to react faster, and to improve memory.

Let's wrap this up.

Pros

  • It's made by an award-winning organic chemist
  • It has no synthetic drugs or ingredients in it
  • It has cayenne, curcumin, bromelain, and boswellic acid from frankincense
  • All of his supplements, including Daily Dose, are raw, organic, gluten free, pesticide free, non-GMO, excipient-free, and soy-free

Cons

  • It's not well known
  • The formulator, Shane Ellison, can be a little too profane and hard boiled for some. His list emails have profanity sometimes, as do his videos. Personally I don't mind at all. I love the guy for his courage in walking away from a highly lucrative career for honor, and for the great contribution to society he's making with his products and writings

Testimonials

Here is a testimonial taken from the its website, and you also have mine now, too:

"Taking Daily Dose is something that I never miss out on. After my brother-in-law passed away from a brain turmor at the young age of 33, I learned from all my research that one of the most potent agents ini fighting cancer is turmeric (the main ingredient in Daily Dose). You can actually see it by the color of the capsule! I watched as the cancer in my brother-in-law racked his body as we searched all over the world for a cure. Unfortunately, no modern science and natural remedy wouldhelp him but the knowledge knowing we tried our best and searched every avenue, [it] helped us deal with what we were facing. Learning from all the most famous and world renowned oncologist, the main thing they stressed was diet. Sugar feeds cancer, and turmeric helps reduce those cancer cells. I start every day with Daily Dose. I even open the capsule and have my kids drink it in a tasty tonic every morning. The pain we go through every day reminds me that not everything is in our hands, but what we choose to put in our body is! Daily Dose is a definite must!"

Price

It sells for $39.95. When you buy three or more, you get 15% off ($101.87). Three bottles, he says, is a three-to-six month supply.

Where to Learn More About It

You can go directly Ellison's website here to learn more about it. So, what's the verdict? I recommend this product. I get nothing for this recommendation as ThePeopleschemist.com has no affiliate program. The product is outstanding. I recommend it because 1) the science behind it is ironclad, 2) it works, 3) it is an all-natural product without synthetic vitamin D2 or vitamin D3, folic acid, or synthetic calcium. I have bought the product twice, along with other products he sells, and felt an increased feeling of well being with all his products and recommendations, e.g., the $1.41 cleanse.

I hope this Daily Dose review has been helpful to you.
